SAILING CRUISES ABOARD PROVIDENCE

Bluey’s Bush and Beach Rides at Horseshoe Bay

Enjoy exciting bush and beach rides, and then swim your horse in the clear waters of the Coral Sea! The horses love swimming, and the experience of riding bareback along the beach and then swimming on horseback is awesome! it's a good idea to have a friend meet you at the beach with a towel and a camera.

FISHING

The island offers suberb fishing wether you fish off the beaches, rocky points or take a trip to the Great Barrier Reef. The local fishing is very rewarding were you can catch, bream, flathead, whiting, mackerel, trevally and queenfish to name a few. 2hr-4hr and full day trips are provided by Barnacle Bill Fishing Tours (Ph: (07) 4778 5424) with everything supplied. BUSH WALKING

Look for the Walking Trails Information Signs located around the island — each one leading you to discover unique beauty and environs of this tropical paradise.

There are 25km of walking trails on the island covering walks graded from easy to moderate with distances of 1.2km to 16km return and ranging from 60mins to 5 hrs walk times.

One of the spectacular walks is the forts walk a round trip of just 4km offering Koalas, spectacular views and an insight into the islands wartime history.

Other spectacular walk destinations include:Balding Bay, Radical Bay, Hawkings Point, Florence Bay and Arthur Bay.
